Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a vendor to provide a nursing/staff scheduling software to optimize the scheduling of staff and improve time management. The software will be deployed at the main campus and the two satellite centers, collectively there are 50 departments in the inpatient, ambulatory, and perioperative areas. There are approximately 800 end users in varying roles working in these departments.

Roswell Park is looking for a solution that has an employee-centric approach to scheduling, allowing employees to self-schedule. Employees should be able to request, trade, and accept shifts and request time off through various modalities, including desktop and mobile devices. The solution should have the capability to incorporate complex business rules to ensure proper coverage/staffing ratios as well as adherence to Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations and internal policies. Additionally, the software should provide automatic schedule suggestions to the managers in charge of scheduling in the various departments.
