Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid : The Work includes, but is not limited to removal and disposal of existing HVAC systems except those that were replaced in Phase 01; installation of a new Building Management System connected with the facility server to connect, monitor, and control all HVAC equipment; replace the existing fire alarm system and upgrade with the latest version fire alarm system that adheres to newer NFPA 72 and NEC guidelines; maintain the existing fire alarm system in service as per Fire Code and OSHA requirements until the new system is functioning; furnish & install the latest version gas (Methane) detection system control panel and Methane purge panel with a 40% expandable/spare capacity for future compatibility with the existing methane detector. This system shall be integrated with the new fire alarm per sequence of operation during emergency shutdown and ventilation requirements; provide new structural steel support or modify the existing ones; modify and redesign the new metal decking opening to match the existing one as necessary; Seal roof protrusions and patch roof openings that are no longer functional; provide new concrete curbs for all new HVAC units and roof flashing for new equipment, penetrations, and supports; repair roofing and flashing damaged by modifying roof openings according to the new equipment footprint and duct penetration areas; replace and repair any ceiling tiles, floor surfaces, or wall masonry damaged due to the HVAC upgrade. This is a A+B Bidding contract.
