Description: INVITATION TO BID The Village of Johnson City (Project Sponsor) invites Contractors to submit sealed bids for the Locally Funded Project – Village of Johnson City Parking Lot @ 219 Main St. Bids will be received by the Village of Johnson City at 243 Main St., Johnson City, NY 13790 until 10:00 A.M. on April 25, 2023. Bids will be publicly opened at 10:00 A.M. This project is locally funded. The Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined on or after 04/10/2023 at the following locations:
Copies of the Bidding and Contract Documents may be obtained at Delta Engineers, 860 Hooper Road, Endwell, NY 13760. A deposit of $50.00 for each set will be required. Deposit checks shall be made payable to the order of the Village of Johnson City . No refunds shall be issued for purchased Contract Documents. If a mailing is required, there will also be a non-refundable mailing fee of $30.00 per set of plans and specifications, to be paid by separate check made out to Delta Engineers. Delivery via Federal Express can be arranged by contacting Doreen at Sponsor Name, phone number 607.231.6600 and providing your Federal Express account number. A certified check or cashier’s check payable to the Village of Johnson City or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The Successful Bidder shall be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each in the amount at least equal to the Contract Amount as security for the faithful performance and payment of all Contractor’s obligations under the Contract Documents. The Village of Johnson City reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject any or all Bids. Bids may be held by the Village of Johnson City for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of the Bid Opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating qualifications of Bidders prior to awarding the Contract. A Pre-Bid Meeting will not be held.
