Notice to Bidders and Newspaper Advertisement

The State University of New York at Buffalo (Buffalo State University) will receive sealed bids for project number T123301 titled Appliances for Student Apartment Complex (STAC) - Summer 2023 until 11:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at SUNY Buffalo State, Procurement Services Office – Cleveland Hall Room 418, 1300 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo, NY 14222, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals may be hand delivered or mailed to Attn: Steve Olsen, Cleveland Hall Room 406, Buffalo State University, 1300 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14222. Proposals that are mailed should be sent "Return Receipt Requested”.

The removal and installation of all appliances will take place starting July 24, 2023 and end no later than August 11, 2023.

A Pre-bid conference and site inspection will be held at SUNY Buffalo State on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. with all contractors assembled at Student Apartment Complex (STAC), main entrance, located on Rees Street. Failure to attend will not be grounds for extra compensation due to field conditions encountered on this project.

Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
