SUNY Cortland intends to purchase the Accommodate software from Symplicity as the campus is seeking a company to provide a data management software system for use in coordinating data for our disability resources office working with students on our campus . System must be able to assist with requests for information when grievances occur and send confidential information upon request for informal appeals. System should provide ease in documenting information when a student needs to make a request, allow for d ocument ation o f confidential meeting notes, and allow for communication to students, faculty, and staff on the determinations regarding accommodation requests.?

System will be used to store case file information submitted by students, requests for equipment, announcements to our students, track peer note takers and provide the opportunity for students to schedule their own appointments . System will also provide a test booking module and allow department to use a calendar to track all the activities of in-person engagement with our students. ? Must also allow d isability r esources employees to see each other’s calendars and easily help someone to add an appointment or view information to answer questions when needed.

SUNY Cortland intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law §355(5)(a), for the above-noted service. A sealed bid will not be held.
