The City of Hudson in Columbia County, NY is requesting proposals from engineering firms to provide engineering design services for the Long Term Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Mitigation Project #1. The City of Hudson owns and operates a combined sanitary and stormwater system, some of which was built in the 1800’s. To mitigate the occurrence of combined sewer overflows to the surrounding environment and Hudson River, the City is seeking to engage professional engineering services in a project to repair, replace, and separate the combined sewer system. This work must be completed per the City’s SPDES Permit and applicable environment regulations.

The project has been listed on the IUP and could qualify for funding through the NYS Environmental Facilities Corporation Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund (CWSRF) and/or the Bipartisan Infrastructure Legislation (BIL).

The Engineering Services contract will encompass all project-related engineering & subcontractor services required for the design and construction of the project, including but not limited to final design plans and specifications, grant administration and permitting assistance, preparation of bid documents, construction management and inspection services, and project close-out.
