Description:

New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, Office of Public Safety is seeking to purchase a 3-D laser scanner for use in Crash Management Courses, Electronic Measuring/Forensic Mapping Course, and assisting police officers on scene with traffic crash investigations. The requested bid should contain a complete package consisting of hardware, software, staff training, and a three year warranty. The hardware should minimally consist of scanner head unit, power block battery, tripod, target set, accessory kit reference markers and cases to house equipment. The software should minimally consist of computer aided drafting software designed to map evidence points for crash scenes and crime scenes. The quote should contain manufacturer in-person training for DCJS staff members to operate the scanner and associated software. The quote should provide a warranty on parts, labor for repairs and annual cleaning and calibration for a minimal period of one year.
