The primary focus of the Provider will be in locating professionally trained, qualified and supervised clergy personnel when an inpatient or outpatient consumer’s traditional or non-traditional denomination is not represented by HPC Chaplains. The approximate need is 20 hours per week for a Protestant Chaplin, 3 hours per week for a Jewish Rabbi, 3 hours per week for a Muslim Imam, in which the Chaplains will provide comfort and compassion to patients, assist with family and/or personal challenges, attend to patients’ spiritual needs. Each faith is allowed no more than 6 worship services per year as needed, not to exceed 6 services per year. As agreed upon by HPC Executive Administration, the Contractor shall provide religious instructions, and pastoral care, in accordance with the religious/spiritual group organization represented by the Contractor.
