Description: Upstate Medical University (“Upstate”) intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, which is up to $125,000.00, Service, Support, and Maintenance for the Leica SP8 Advanced Imaging System with Tandem Scanner, including Technical Phone Support, On-site Service, and planned maintenance inspection services as noted below, pursuant to New York State (“NYS”) Education Law §355(5)(a) which authorizes purchases without a formal competitive process in certain circumstances, including purchases from NYS small businesses, from business certified pursuant to Article 15-A of the NYS Executive Law, and if applicable, from businesses selling commodities or technology that are recycled or remanufactured. If you are interested in providing a proposal for the above commodity or service, you must contact the appropriately designated Campus contact in this advertisement within fifteen (15) business days of this Advertised Notice. A sealed bid will not be held. Requirements: -Certified Leica Microsystems Division equipment professionals -Access to field-based inventory of factory-certified repair parts for Leica Microsystems equipment -Technical Phone Support for the Leica SP8 (s/n 8110002033) -Support and Maintenance for the Leica SP8 (s/n 8110002033) -Provide on-site services for the Leica SP8 (s/n 8110002033) This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law (“SFL”) §§139 –j & –k, also known as the Lobbying Law, therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual(s) listed below. Contacting any other individuals at Upstate in connection with this advertisement may constitute a violation of SFL. Failure to comply with this requirement can range from no contract award to debarment from sales to any NYS agency.
