SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University ("SUNY-DHSU") hereby seeks letters of interest in providing the below Pharmacy services.

1. The vendor must provide both 503A and 503B services. 503A pharmacies provide compounding services to fill individual patient specific prescriptions. 503B compounding pharmacies are approved by the FDA to produce large batches of medications without patient specific prescriptions.

2. The vendor must be a New York State Registered Outsourcing Facility. Current registration must be verifiable at the Office of Professions' official database.

3. 503A services must include the preparation of patient specific Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN). The vender must have an electronic platform for ordering and must be able to supply the prepared medication for the patients within the same day.

4. 503B services must include the following medications that are utilized in the hospital formulary: Operating Room (OR) or Anesthesia prepared syringe Phenylephrine 100mcg/mL (10mL), intravenous bags Oxytocin 30 Units in 500mL, Parenteral Nutrition (PN) Starter solutions 5% and 10%. Additional medications may be requested based on changes to hospital formulary and updates to compounding regulations.

5. The compounding facility must be able to provide evidence of USP compounding standards upon request.

Vendors who are interested and able to provide the above-referenced must submit prior to the due date listed in the advertisement a letter of interest on company letterhead signed, with a description of your company/firm. as well as an overview of how you will be able to provide the listed items/services.

This solicitation of Interest is merely to determine if any vendors exist who have the capability and interest to provide the listed items/services.
