Work consist of: Remove and replace existing wiring and conduit with new to restore proper power and functionality to existing West Games area if the boardwalk lighting. Work is to consist of tracing the existing line to find locations, remove existing conduit and copper wiring and replace with new conduit and copper wiring to existing lighting. Conduit and wiring is located under the existing boardwalk located near the West Games area of Jones Beach. Work is also to include adding new bases to the existing light poles.

Estimated Range: $214,537.00 - $290,255.00

There will be a pre-bid meeting on Thursday, March 2, 2023, 1:00PM at Mini Golf Starters Booth, West Games Area, Jones Beach State Park.

PUBLIC BUILDING LAW § 8(6)

Pursuant to Public Building Law § 8(6), any contracts over $5,000 for the work of construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, or improvement of any State building, a responsible and reliable NYS-certified Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise that submits a bid within ten percent of the lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder provided that the bid is $1,491,110 or less (maximum amount has been adjusted for inflation effective January 1, 2023). If more than one responsible and reliable MWBE firm meets the requirements, the MWBE firm with lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder.
