The State University of New York at Buffalo will receive sealed bids for project number 2022-213 titled UB Alumni Arena Lighting Replacement – Main Gym until local time at 2 PM on October 24, 2023. All bid packages must be submitted via email to UB-Compliance@buffalo.edu Email shall include Project #2022-213 and “Contractor Name” in Subject line.

NO BIDS SHOULD BE HAND DELIVERED OR DELIVERED THROUGH ANY DELIVERY SERVICE OR COMMON CARRIER. ONLY ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The University assumes no responsibility for any Proposal that is not delivered into its aforesaid email address by 2:00 PM local time.

All work on this Contract is to be completed by August 21, 2024.

This Project is an electrical single prime contract.

A walk-through site inspection will be held on 8:30 AM on Thursday October 12th. All interested parties should assemble at UB North Campus, inside main gym at Alumni Arena. Failure to participate in the walk-through inspection will not be grounds for extra compensation due to field conditions encountered on this project.

Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
