OGS is seeking a vendor to provide a replacement stone for the EMS Memorial located at the Empire State Plaza. The existing stone must be removed without damaging the pedestal. The stone must be gray granite of similar color and finish as the existing memorial stone measuring 12 feet wide, 2 feet thick, and 8 feet tall. Sandblasting and engraving services will be required by this solicitation.

The following minimum requirements must be met by each Bidder:

1. Bidder must have been established in the business of delivery and placement/removal of granite monuments for a minimum of three years.
2. Bidder must have been established in the business of creating and engraving granite memorials for a minimum of three years.

Bidders intending to submit a bid will be required to attend a mandatory site visit, which will include an informational meeting and a tour of the memorial site on 4/4/23 at 10:00am. all Bidders are strongly encouraged to pre-register with Kelly Jones at Kelly.Jones@ogs.ny.gov at least 24 hours in advance of the site visit date and time. Failure to attend the mandatory site visit will result in rejection of the bid
