NOTICE TO BIDDERS, The State University of New York, Empire State University invites bids for the project titled ESU-24-08 111 West Ave Paving. This project is located at 111 West Avenue Saratoga Springs, NY, 12688.

• This solicitation is issued by the State University of New York Empire State University.
• The State University of New York at State University at Empire State, located at 2 Union Avenue, Saratoga, N.Y 12866, is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to execute the 111 West Avenue - Paving project.
• The total project scope includes repair of parking lots located at 111 West and 113 West Avenue. The work includes crack sealing, line striping and pavement replacement.
• This is a prevailing wage job.
• This portion of the project includes all necessary labor and materials to complete the work as described and detailed on the Project Scope and Details.
• A non-mandatory pre-bid conference and project walk-through will be held on-site on: Wednesday, 02/28/2024 at 10:00 am.

Please be advised all individuals who access SUNY Empire State University to attend the project walk-through will be required to present picture identification to building security officials and obtain a visitor’s pass before entering the building. There is no parking on campus for those attending the walk-through.

MBE, WBE and SDVOB goals for subcontractors are 15%, 15%, and 6% respectively.

To submit a bid, please send an electronic copy of the proposal on your company’s letterhead with the date, project title, your name, company name, and email address to the technical contact person named in this advertisement. Bids must be received no later than 2:00 pm EST on 3/11/2024.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and women-owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The University reserves the right to award no contract.

SUNY intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law §355(5)(a), for the above noted commodity/product or service. A sealed bid will not be held.
