The SUNY College of Agriculture & Technology at Cobleskill intends use its discretionary authority to enter into a rental agreement with a vendor who is able to provide the necessary labor, material, equipment, accessories, and services to provide and install a fully operational temporary trailered, 100 hp commercial steam boiler to be connected to the Curtis Mott building on campus.

Equipment should be equivalent to a York packaged firetube boiler model Series VIX 70-150, 150 PSIG ASME code constructed and National Board certified. Full delivery, setup, startup, teardown, removal, connection to existing power, steam piping, natural gas piping, and makeup water.

Campus personnel will operate the boiler during the rental period.

Vendors should provide the quote on a per month basis, with an anticipated duration of 7 months, from October 18 through May 18. Show fixed costs (delivery, setup, etc.) as separate from the monthly costs.

Submit bid as herein described delivered NET FOB Destination. Bidders must comply with all of the following: Exhibits A (Standard Contract Clauses), A-1 (Affirmative Action Clauses), Exhibit D (Non-Collusive Bidding Certification), Exhibit N (Subcontracting Form), Exhibit L (Procurement Lobbying Law), Exhibit T (ST-220) Exhibit V (Vendor Responsibility), Exhibit E (EO 177 Certification), Exhibit H (N.Y. State Finance Law §139-l Certification), and EEO Staffing Plan (Equal Employment Opportunity) attached hereto and made part of this proposal.

This contract must begin on October 18, 2023. Guaranteed delivery/commencement date may be given consideration.

Additional specifications: Rental boilers shall be skid mounted or flatbed/trailer mounted to minimize space and be self-contained with all required accessories, Cables for power supply plus piping for water, steam and fuel supply (natural gas and/or low sulfur No. 2 fuel oil) to existing plant systems shall be included. For bidding purposes, assume all connections are within 150 feet of temporary boiler rental location

SUNY intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law §355(5)(a), for the above noted commodity/product or service. A sealed bid will not be held.
