NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Wayne will receive sealed bids for Wayne County – Sheriff’s Office Jail Annex Building Repurposing Project located at 7368 State Route 31, Lyons, NY 14489.
Project Summary:
Wayne County is looking to award a Single Prime Contract to convert an existing single story 5,495 sqft steel framed jail housing structure into a Secure Garage Storage Area, a General Vehicle & Equipment Storage space and a Small Tactical Training Area. Work includes but not limited to removal of existing interior walls, exterior doors, all mechanical, electrical, plumbing equipment and abatement. Framing out and installing 6 new overhead doors, floor patching and infilling, interior framing, HM doors and hardware, new plumbing fixtures and HVAC equipment, updating existing electrical panels, priming & painting, floor coverings and other work indicated in the Contract Drawings.
Such sealed bids must be clearly identified and filed with the Clerk of the Wayne County Board of Supervisors, 26 Church Street, Lyons, New York 14489, on or before 2:00 PM. prevailing time on Friday, September 22nd , 2023, at which time said bids, will be publicly opened and read.
There will be a “Bidders Tour” of the facility to answer any questions Bidders may have. The “Bidders Tour” will be held on Friday, August 25th, 2023 @ 10:00 AM. Bidders shall meet out behind the Wayne County Jail located at 7368 Route 31, Lyons, New York 14489.
ALL PRE-BID REQUEST FOR INFORMATION must be received no later than 3:00 PM on Friday, September 1st, 2023.
