NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Wayne will receive sealed bids for Wayne County – Department of Social Services (DSS) Elevator Replacement Project located at 77 Water Street, Lyons, NY 14489.
Project Summary:
Wayne County is looking to award a Single Prime Contract to modify an existing elevator hoistway to extend its height above the existing roof deck level to accommodate the overrun dimension of the replacement elevator, including tie-in to the existing roofing system that is under warranty. Work includes but is not limited to Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Electrical work associated with the elevator replacement as indicated in the Contract Drawings. It should be noted that the removal of the existing elevator system and installation of the replacement elevator system will be performed under separate contract and is not part of the scope of this contract.
Such sealed bids must be clearly identified and filed with the Clerk of the Wayne County Board of Supervisors, 26 Church Street, Lyons, New York 14489, on or before 2:30 PM. prevailing time on Friday, February 23rd, 2024, at which time said bids, will be publicly opened and read.
There will be a “Bidders Tour” of the facility to answer any questions Bidders may have. The “Bidders Tour” will be held on Thursday, February 1st, 2024 @ 9:00 AM. Bidders shall meet at the front door of the Wayne Department of Social Services building located at 77 Water Street, Lyons, New York 14489.
ALL PRE-BID REQUEST FOR INFORMATION must be received no later than 3:00 PM on Friday, February 9th, 2024.
