NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the County of Wayne i
s seeking sealed proposals for an operator or operators to rent non-motorized recreational equipment (i.e. Bicycles, Canoes, Kayaks, etc). The operator may choose to provide rental services at the County owned Aqueduct Park in Palmyra, NY, Widewaters Park in Newark, NY and/or Abbey Park in Lyons, NY. All parks are located on and provide access to the NYS Erie Canal.
The agreement will be up to three years. Proposal must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions for Proposal.

Tour of the parks will be by appointment only. To schedule a tour please contact Deputy Superintendent Scott Kolczynski at 315-946-5830. Potential bidders are welcome to visit each site on his or her own. Parks may be access dawn to dusk on any day.
Proposals will be received at the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Wayne County Courthouse, 26 Church Street, Lyons, New York 14489, until Friday January 26

, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. prevailing time.
NOTICE: The County of Wayne shall not be held responsible for the completeness or accuracy of any bid documents received by a vendor that were not directly issued to that vendor by the Purchasing Department.
Any vendor submitting a bid based on incomplete or inaccurate information resulting from documentation received from any third party, shall not have cause for relief from award or completion of a contract in accordance with the official documents on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.
It is HIGHLY suggested that all vendors interested in participating in this bid, contact the Purchasing Department directly at the above address or telephone number to assure they have received the most accurate and up-to-date material concerning this contract.
The County does not offer or supply anyone the list of people that have obtained a copy of these bid specifications or cost estimates for the project prior to the opening of the bid. NO EXCEPTIONS ARE MADE TO THIS POLICY.
