Through RFP 5532, NYSERDA will competitively select up to 179.5 MWdc of community solar projects to participate in this program which will provide electric bill savings to over 160,000 low-income National Grid electric customers. Selected projects will be compensated directly by National Grid, eliminating the need for customer acquisition, management, and administration.
