Livingston County is seeking a qualified environmental consulting and/or planning firm to provide assistance with: 1) securing U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) grants for the assessment, cleanup or redevelopment of brownfield properties in Livingston County, and 2) implementation of environmental assessment, remedial planning, community outreach, and other environmental or planning components for which funding is secured. The initial focus of the awarded contract will be securing an EPA Fiscal Year 2024 Brownfield Community-Wide Assessment Grant as part of the EPA’s annual Brownfields Grant Solicitations, for which it is anticipated applications will be due in November 2023. Proposals will be received by the Livingston County Planning Department at the Livingston County Government Center, 6 Court St., Room 305, Geneseo, New York until 9:00 a.m. October 23, 2023 in accordance with the proposal documents. All proposals must be placed in a sealed envelope and shall clearly be marked "RFP- U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Brownfield Community-Wide Assessment Grant Application Development and Program Administration.”
