The City of Buffalo is currently responsible for monitoring and reporting requirements for Bern Metal, Unity Island Landfill, Kingsley Park, Franczyck Park and 1318 Niagara Street as part of their respective Site Management Plans (SMPs) for remediation work. Each site requires varying monitoring and reporting requirements as outlined below, and therefore, will require review of SMPs, Periodic Review/Annual Reports, and other documents on record and filed with New York State Department of Environmental Conversation (NYSDEC) as part of the work performed under this proposal. Most SMPs, PRRs and other files relevant to these sites are available at the DEC Info Locator website or can be electronically requested by the consultant from the City. The Unity Island Landfill Closure Plan and 2022 Annual Monitoring Report, and 1318 Niagara Street 2023 PRR are included under the Bid Posting – Related Documents. Any additional records that are not available online or in the Bid Posting deemed necessary for review prior to submission of a proposal can be requested and sent via email (pending attachment file size limits, please indicate maximum file size limits in request) or can be uploaded to an FTP site hosted by the consultant.
