This is a public synopsis of a forthcoming solicitation in accordance with FAR 36.213-2. This is NOT a solicitation, and no solicitation documents are currently publicly available.
This pre-solicitation notice is for Request for Quote Number 36C24224Q0050 - Project No. SL-24-012-NY Medivator Site Preparation at New York Harbor Healthcare System Manhattan Campus located at 423 East 23 Street, New York, NY 10010.
This project will be 100% Set-Aside to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Competition for this procurement is restricted to verified SBA Cert SERVICE- DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) Contractors. The SDVOSB must be a small business under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in https://veterans.certify.sba.gov.
The NAICS code for this procurement is 238990 All Other Specialty Contractors, with a Size Standard of $19 million IAW VAAR 852.219-10 the VetCert (formerly VIP listed) SDVOSB. Prospective Contractor is required to perform a minimum of 15% of the construction work. The estimate price range for this project is $25,000 and $100,000.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The scope of this project is to provide Site Preparation in Sterile Processing Service (SPS) washer area to accommodate the installation of three Medivator Advantage Plus Endoscope Reprocessors, in compliance with Appendix C, Site Requirements. Work shall include and not limited to the installation of three (3) NEMA 5-15R GFCI, 120VAC, single phase, 60 Hz, 15 Amp Circuit outlet within 4 feet of each Medivator, installation of three (3) thermostatic mixing valves, with a temperature range of 91F-99F, for each Medivator and other tasks associated with the installation of Medivators in strict accordance with Appendix C and the Scope of Work.
PROJECT COMPLETION: Contractor to start immediately after receiving the Notice to Proceed and complete required work in 60 calendar days.
Prospective contractors must be registered and certified online with SBA VetCert https://veterans.certify.sba.gov and must be registered at https://www.sam.gov in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 to be eligible for award. A site visit held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the site visit will be included in the solicitation document. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on/about October 30, 2023. All interested parties (subs & primes) should register for a user account which lets you save searches, follow changes to opportunities, and join interested vendor lists and verified as a SDVOSB in Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov) at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
