Description

This action was not awarded competitevly due not only the urgency of the need and Sole Source justification given by WVA Les McElya. Using the Autority FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), McElya had evaluated the marketplace for a company that can manufacture this specific coil in a quick timeframe, while adhering to our concerns on quality of tooling. Magnaflux was deemed a suitor since it is the original equipment manufacturer. This allows the ability of expediting the requested order to meet the demands of the Watervliet Arsenal.
