Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons: Metropolitan Detention Center located at Brooklyn, NY is requesting a quote for maintenance on 3 York Paraflow Chillers. Below you will find the information necessary to generate a quote.



It is the intent of this solicitation to obtain a contractor to provide maintenance for (3) three York Paraflow Chillers:



Models # YPC-FP-18S-17C-S-D



1. Serial # 11521G19810891



2. Serial # 11521C19810893



3. Serial # 11521C19810892



The contractor shall provide all the following services below.



--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------



SCOPE OF WORK



1. Check in on site with all tools, materials and storage gang box



2. Remove condenser and absorber heads (one side only for each)



3. Remove crossover pipe



4. Mechanically brush each tube in the condenser and absorber barrels



5. Reinstall condenser head with new gasket



6. Reinstall absorber head with new gasket



7. Reinstall crossover pipe



8. Provide and install new flange gaskets



9. Provide Burner Service on all 3 machines (to be performed during run season)



10. Clean work area

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE



The location hereinafter referred as "MDC Brooklyn" shall refer to performance at both locations: 80 29th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232.

SCHEDULE



All work will be performed between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. The anticipated period of performance begins on the date of the award through September 30, 2023.

EVALUATION FACTORS



Evaluation factors are past performance and lowest price. Best value determination method will be used to make awards. The government will award to the responsible contractor whose quote is conforming to the solicitation.

1. Complete and submit the contractor's information sheet.



2. Submit their quote.



3. Review the Scope of Work (SOW) section.



4. Be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation.

5. Review and comply with the attached Service Contract Act WD #2015-4187 for appropriate wage determinations.



"The Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, apply to contractors and subcontractors performing on federally funded or assisted contracts in excess of $2,000 for the construction, alteration, or repair (including painting and decorating) of public buildings or public works. Davis-Bacon Act and Related Act contractors and subcontractors must pay their laborers and mechanics employed under the contract no less than the locally prevailing wages and fringe benefits for corresponding work on similar projects in the area. The Davis-Bacon Act directs the Department of Labor to determine such locally prevailing wage rates. The Davis-Bacon Act applies to contractors and subcontractors performing work on federal or District of Columbia contracts."
