PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing a temporary deionization (DI) water purification system for water suitable for sterile processing at the Northport VA Medical Center. The proposed contract action is expected to be a Firm Fixed Price contract with a base period of performance approximately December 23, 2023, through December 22, 2024 with four option years.
STATEMENT OF WORK SUMMARY:
The Sterile Processing Service at the Northport VA Medical Center requires a temporary deionization water purification system. Services shall include:
All maintenance services / inspections (including corrective and preventative)
24/7 remote system monitoring of quality, flow, volume, automating resin tank exchanges, and overall system performance
Repairs
Water testing
Unlimited technical phone support
24/7 2-hour emergency response services
System requirements:
Alarm notification through remote monitoring service for any system components found to be out of specification.
Leak detection
Water must meet the required critical water systems water quality for Sterile Processing Services:

Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's experience in delivering the service listed above, as well as capability of performing these services in the areas listed above. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, Sam UEI number, business size and Socioeconomic Category (HUBZone, 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Small Business, Large Business, etc.), FSS Contract # if applicable, and point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number.
