Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-19-G-0029 on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (LM RMS) in Owego, NY. This effort is for the non-recurring engineering (NRE) to integrate one Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) Satellite Communication (SATCOM) system on an MH-60 test aircraft. The MUOS SATCOM system will be assessed during the installation on the MH-60 test aircraft in support of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Multi-Mission Helicopter Program Office (PMA-299) in partnership with Air Combat Electronics Program Office (PMA-209). The subject effort is estimated period of performance (PoP) of 18 months, May 2024 through November 2025.





Note: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any capability statements received by the close of the synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
