The purpose of this notice is to inform interested parties that Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with RLC Electronics, Inc. (RLC) for a minimum quantity of 20 RF switches and a maximum quantity of 650 RF switches Radio Frequency (RF) switches. It is anticipated that this will be a Firm Fixed-Price contract.

The RLC RF switches are the only switches that are compatible with the existing Family of Specialized Operations Vehicles (FOSOV) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Phase 4 system while maintaining compliance with established MIL-STD-1310, MIL-STD-810, MIL-DTL-3928, and approved E3 requirements. Additionally, the RLC RF switches have unique mounting holes that mount with existing metalwork. No other RF switches can meet the requirements and are compatible with the C4ISR system.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Responses by phone or fax will not be accepted. The Government will not pay for any information received.
