The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW 13.106(b) to obtain an emergency Siemens Panel Upgrade and intends on making award to Siemens Industry, Inc.
Period of performance: Emergency request to begin immediately upon award.
Basic description of the requirement: The scope of this requirement is to remove and replace the existing SCU/MBC enclosure, wiring, sensors, and actuators and replace them with a PXC-Modular Controller. A new interface for the server would then be created. Work is to include all the electrical work, hardware installation, programming, graphical interface, database creation, commissioning, training, and system startup.

The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - Emergency Siemens Panel Upgrade in the subject line. All documents submitted, will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contract Specialist Leia LaBruna at Leia.Labruna@va.gov. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements.
