RPC will require the awarded vendor to provide 450 radiator covers for immediate installation and 30 covers for the hospital to maintain stock in inventory. The bidder will supply a price individually for both quantities. The quantity of inventory stock is an estimate and may be subject to change once the actual project begins. All radiator covers are to be made in exact accordance with the specifications listed below and on the schematic drawing found in Attachment Z, and provided separately. The awarded vendor must maintain communication with the Plant Superintendent, or their designee, to provide updates and communicate regarding deliveries, project completion and any discussion of the physical requirements for the covers.

Radiator Cover Specifications

A schematic drawing has been provided with this solicitation in Attachment Z, and provided separately. Vendors are expected to manufacture radiator covers following the exact specifications listed on the schematic. These details include, but are not limited to:

• Covers will be made of 16GA, galvanized steel
• The color will be an off-white/cream to be decided on by the Plant Superintendent or their designee, from the awarded vendor’s color options
• All specifications related to the perforation dimensions are found on the schematic provided in Attachment Z, and provided separately
• Tool pattern, perf length, perf width, margins, thickness, flatness, camber, etc. are all found in the details provided in the schematic
• All fasteners (security tip screws) and hardware will be included with the bid price.

Any product provided that is outside of the specifications found in this section and the schematic in Attachment Z, and provided separately, will be rejected at the expense of the awarded vendor.
