Lake Erie State Park Utility Upgrades
Description:

Upgrade the electrical and water distribution systems. The electrical system is a combination of older 480/240V, 1 Ph distribution on the eastern portion of the park, and a newer 4.8 kV, 1 Ph distribution on the northwest area. This project will provide a new 4.8 kV design to replace the old 480V system, with condition assessment and repair of the existing 4.8 kV system components. This will unify the two systems into a single 4.8 kV distribution system for the entire park.

The existing water system will be replaced from the existing distribution supply connection to the distribution mains throughout the park. Work will include the upgrade or replacement of existing water main, manholes, and valves along with added water supply features and new winterization appurtenances. Work includes sanitary dump station removal and replacement.
