Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: This document identifies the Work to be performed for the repair and overhaul and rewinding of LETAG HVAC Compressor Motors of the NYC Transit (NYCT) fleet that will be installed on NYC Transit’s R46, R62, R62A, R68, and R68A Subway fleets. The Work shall include: the pickup, inspection, troubleshooting, overhauling, testing, repairing and return of approximately 1,800 LETAG HVAC Compressor Motors that will be installed, including all necessary or incidental work, labor, and materials. The Contractor shall thoroughly inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul and test the motors to ensure each motor works properly. The Work shall be performed in compliance with the Scope of Work using all applicable industrial, OEM and NYCT Transit Overhaul Process Manuals and standards. All material shall be OEM parts or NYCT approved equivalents used in the repair of the equipment.
