Description:

The State University of New York at Oneonta will receive sealed bids for project number M09621 titled Freshmen Dorm Generator Interconnects until 2:00 p.m. local time on December 13, 2022 at Office of Facilities Planning, 322 West Street, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.

All work on this Contract is to be completed by April 12, 2024.

Complete sets of Contract Documents for bidding may be obtained from the consultant, Mandy Brown, 145 Culver Road, Suite 200, Rochester, NY 14620 585-427-8888 ( facservices@erdmananthony.com ). In order for your bid to be accepted, you must have purchased the bid documents from the above location. Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a deposit check of $49.00 for printed copies or $20.00 for electronic copies, made payable to Erdman Anthony & Associates, is required.

All questions and/or requests for clarifications regarding the contract documents are to be directed to: Cindy Lehr at Cindy.Lehr@oneonta.edu and to Robert Marshall at MarshallR@erdmananthony.com . The last day for questions or requests for clarification regarding the contract documents is 12/6/22 by 2:00pm.

A project walk through will be held on Wednesday, 11/30/22 at 10:30am. Please meet at 322 West Street field office trailer. Sites to visit as follows: Tobey Hall, Wilber Hall, Littell Hall and Golding Hall.

Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The University hereby establishes an overall goal of 30% for MWBE participation, 15% for Minority-Owned business Enterprises (MBE) participation, 15% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) participation and an overall goal of 6% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business enterprises (SDVOB) participation. Please include your MWBE Utilization (Form 7557-107) and EEO Staffing (7557-108) Plans, along with the EEO Policy Statement (Form 7557-104) with your Bid Proposal documents.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
