Scope of work: is to include all necessary labor, material and equipment for the replacement of eleven (11) roofs approximately 21,500 SF at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Community Campus.

All work on this Contract is to be completed within 180 days after the date of the Notice to Proceed.

Bids must be submitted in triplicate (3), which must have original signatures on the forms provided by the University, in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.

The selected contractor must comply with M/WBE goals. State University of New York goals are: 21% MBE and 9% WBE participation of the total contract value. State University of New York also has a goal for the Work Force participation: EEO 10% WBE and EEO 10% MBE of total work force on the project.
