The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of one (1) welded aluminum high-speed landing craft. The main purpose of the boat will be to transport equipment used for maintenance and improvement of habitat projects on islands and shorelines of the St. Lawrence River but may also support DEC’s research and sampling operations in the area. The boat will operate in a variety of locations within the St. Lawrence River, with a variety of depths including shallows (depths of 2 to 5 feet) to deep-water areas (depths from 5 to 60+ feet).
