Stony Brook University Hospital intends to purchase orthopedic personal protection supplies and related items by Stryker from contract # MS5990 dated 10/01/2017 - 09/30/2023awarded pursuant to their authority under section 163(3)(vi), which authorizes the purchase of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price.
