Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Greenfield, Town Clerk’s Office, P.O. Box 10, Greenfield Center, NY, 12833, or hand delivered to Town of Greenfield, Town Clerk’s Office at 7 Wilton Road, Greenfield Center, NY until 12:00 PM Local Time on March 3, 2023, and then at publicly opened and read aloud.

An optional pre-bid meeting will be held February 15, 2023, at 10 AM, at the Brookhaven Golf Course, 333 Alpine Meadows Rd, Porter Corners, NY

The work involves, but is not limited to, pumping and removal of the existing septic tank, installation of the 1,000-gallon grease trap, 2,000-gallon septic tank, and installation of 240 linear feet of conventional soil absorption trench, landscape restoration and modifications of existing interior building plumbing to accommodate the new grease trap. The work shall be substantially completed by April 28, 2023, and is subject to prevailing New York State wage rates, as well as the requirements for an equal employment opportunity, all as described in the Contract Documents. Bids should exclude sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work. A bid bond in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Bid will be required with the submission of each bid. The successful bidders, to whom the contract is awarded, will be required to provide a payment and performance bond equal to the full amount of the Contract. Bids will be received on an itemized unit price basis.

Bids actually received by mail or by hand after the appointed time on the date specified shall be rejected, notwithstanding that such Bid may have been placed in a mailbox or other mail receptacle regularly maintained by the United States Postal Services before such time, and ordinarily in sufficient time to have been delivered on time.
