The State University of New York at Buffalo will receive sealed bids for project number 2021-032 titled
Extend Chilled Water Piping from Allen until 2:00 PM local time on 12/15/22 at 224 Crofts Hall,
University at Buffalo/North Campus, Buffalo, NY 14260, where such proposals will be where such
proposals will be recorded, and results distributed via email to all participating bidders.
The Proposal may be hand delivered to Room 224 Crofts Hall or be mailed to the State University of
New York at Buffalo, 224 Crofts Hall, Buffalo, New York 14260. Proposals that are mailed to the
University must be delivered by 2:00 p.m. local time on the day of the bid opening and all of such
Proposal when mailed should be sent “return receipt requested.” The University assumes no
responsibility for any Proposal that is not delivered into its aforesaid address by 2:00 PM local time.
Proposals sent by delivery services shall be forwarded to the State University of New York at Buffalo,
Procurement Services, 224 Crofts Hall, Buffalo, New York 14260.
All work on this Contract is to be completed by 11/10/2023, starting on or after the University’s Notice to
Proceed is received which shall be forwarded to the Contractor(s) upon approval of the contract of the
New York State Comptroller.

Services located at 40 La Riviere Drive, Buffalo, New York 14202 after that move date. Payment can be
submitted by credit card or by a check made payable to: Avalon Document Services
A walk-through site inspection will be held on 11/29/2022 at 1:00 PM. All interested parties
should assemble at the front lobby of Allen Hall. Failure to participate in the walk-through inspection
will not be grounds for extra compensation due to field conditions encountered on this project.
Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for
Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total
Bid.
It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority
business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders
are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
