State University of New York at Stony Brook is seeking proposals for the provision of a comprehensive software solution for plagiarism. Our Learning Management System, Brightspace, does not provide this functionality. A third-party solution is needed to ensure academic honesty and efficiently bring active resources to addressing plagiarism. The software system for a plagiarism detection tool will help educators evaluate the originality of student work, provide feedback to improve student learning, ensure system contains functionality to support data portability, be capable of providing quality resources in a timely manner and demonstrate a value for money.
