The State University Construction Fund is seeking Statements of Qualifications from consultants to provide full design and construction administration services for new construction of an approximately 40,000 GSF New University Center. The New University Center will include a recreation center, student lounge, student organization space, student administrative space, study/group space, conference rooms, retail services, catering, and food services. Parking will be provided under the building for fifty vehicles. An embedded program study is required to identify department space requirements. The design shall provide an immediately recognizable building with a new face to the Campus on Lenox Avenue that fits into the vernacular of the surrounding Campus. Provide campus utility connections and extensions as required to support the new facility. Demolition of the existing multi-level parking garage and associated site work is included in this project.

Design Services will initially proceed for the entire project. The estimated construction value for the entire project is $59.5 M.
