This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the State University of New York (herein after referred to as “SUNY”) to solicit proposals for an online Digital Learning Environment designed to facilitate each college and university mission of teaching and learning. The Digital Learning Environment should meet the online learning and educational needs of all participating SUNY campuses as well as SUNY Online and other learning environment needs including library services, proctoring, professional development and training.
This Request for Proposal is issued by SUNY System Administration to establish a system-wide agreement that may be utilized by any participating SUNY institution or affiliates identified in Buyer Attachments, State University of New York Institutions. The objective of this RFP is to identify and select the most qualified software company for SUNY to contract with for a modern, reliable, secure, and flexible Digital Learning Environment software system along with implementation, training, support, maintenance and professional services. The software system selected for SUNY’s Digital Learning Environment should provide all the necessary functionality of a modern 21st century online Digital Learning Environment.
The results of this RFP will be used to award a 5-year contract, with the option to renew for two additional 3-year terms to the Bidder determined to be most qualified.
Minimum Bidder Qualifications:
A contract will be awarded only to a responsible, qualified Bidder, in a financial position to do the work specified. Proposals will be accepted only from Bidders meeting the following minimum qualifications:
Bidders must have a fully developed, Digital Learning Environment platform with the following high-level functionality implemented and in production:
When the proposed solution relies on partnerships and/or third-party solutions to provide required functionality, references provided must validate that the solution, as proposed, has been previously implemented successfully. The product/version demonstrated by the bidder must currently be in production and correspond to the product and version of the proposed solution.Due Date: 09/04/2020 4:00 PM
