The work of this single bid project includes the complete replacement of eleven (11) existing elevators located in various buildings on the SUNY New Paltz campus. Existing elevators include both traction and hydraulic types. The work includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of cabs, doors, rails, hoisting machines, controllers and shaft modifications. Additionally, sumps will be constructed, firestopping will be provided, modifications to existing sprinkler systems, electric panel replacement, ventilation systems and hazardous material abatement are included in the Work.

A project walk-through has been scheduled for October 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. meeting at the Student Union Atrium.

All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
