The Town of Greenburgh, Westchester County, NY seeks the services of a licensed professional landscape installation company for purposes of:

1. Meeting with Department of Community Development and Conservation staff in the field, to review staff identified locations for tree/shrub planting within Town rights-of-way – Spring 2023.
2. Coordinating all required Code 753 “Call Before You Dig” protocols.
3. Coordinating with the Greenburgh Police Department (If deemed necessary) for Town roadway lane closures.
4. Proper planting and staking (if required) of 2 trees (~1.5” caliper size B&B) fronting 14 Hood Court, P.O. Hartsdale, both located within the street right-of-way, pursuant to the “Tree Owner’s Manual for the Northeastern and Midwestern United States”, printed by the USDA Forest Service, dated November 2008, or the most current version or its successor.
5. Proper planting and staking (if required) of 20 shrubs (~3 or 5 gallon container size) at Greenburgh Town Hall, pursuant to the “Tree Owner’s Manual for the Northeastern and Midwestern United States”, printed by the USDA Forest Service, dated November 2008, or the most current version or its successor.

Please provide a cost for each task and total lump sum fee, as well as a schedule of timing regarding the above referenced deliverables. Please also provide appropriate Certificates of Insurance as outlined within the attached Street Opening Permit Requirements document.

1. Please provide a cost for pick-up of 2 trees, 20 shrubs (as identified above) and 5 yards of brown organic shredded mulch from Prospero Nursery, 1120 Knollwood Road, P.O. White Plains, NY, and delivery, as specified, to the 2 above referenced locations (14 Hood Court, P.O. Hartsdale; and Greenburgh Town Hall).

The Town of Greenburgh seeks to authorize this work in spring 2023 (early May). Please note that no permit work will be necessary on behalf of the selected contractor. The Town will coordinate the purchasing of all trees, shrubs, and mulch associated with the project.
