The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) will issue a series of challenges in 2022 that have been defined in collaboration with New York State’s Investor Owned Utilities (IOU) and NYSERDA internal teams. Each challenge presents an opportunity to improve the performance and validate value propositions for the electric power delivery system as it evolves with increasing renewable penetration. The challenges will describe outcomes the stakeholders are seeking to achieve operational goals that support the realization of the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA). The projects also help establish a pathway for products and services to gain market entry by addressing existing technical and economic barriers. If changes are made to this solicitation notification will be posted on NYSERDA’s website at: www.nyserda.ny.gov/funding-opportunities Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences: NYSERDA is accepting Full Proposals in the following categories: Category A: Product Development, Up to $3 million in NYSERDA funding per award with 50% cost share requirement Category B: Demonstration Projects, Up to $400 thousand in NYSERDA funding per award with 50% cost share requirement Category C: Studies, Up to $3 million in NYSERDA funding per award with 25% cost share requirement Other requirements are:
