OPWDD’s Capital District DDSO Purchasing Unit is looking to obtain quotes from responsible and qualified MWBEs, SDVOBs or NYS small business contractors to preform exterior painting at the addresses listed below per the attached scopes of work.

Please be advised that attendance at the site visit is required prior to submitting a bid and are as listed below. If your company would like to be considered for this project, please review the attached scope of work, attend the scheduled site visit, and submit your bid using the attached bid form to psespurchasing@opwdd.ny.gov no later than COB, Wednesday, 12/14/22.

Pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority under State Finance Law § 163(6), which authorizes purchases without a formal competitive process in certain circumstances, including purchases from NYS Small Businesses, MWBE-certified pursuant to Article 15-A of the New York State Executive Law or SDVOB-certified pursuant to Article 17-B of the New York State Executive Law.

The successful bidder must submit at least three (3) work references that will verify that the bidder has at least three (3) years of relevant experience to complete the work as listed in Scope/Mandatory Requirements. Applicable insurances are required. Contract will be awarded to the responsible and responsive bidder that provides the lowest total cost for painting services. Prevailing wage will apply.

Cluster 3

195 Grove Street, Middleburgh, NY 12122 - Wednesday, 12/7/22 9am

This project is awarded as a cluster. To be considered for this project, all locations in a cluster must be submitted on the bid forms provided and include the materials and labor cost break down.

REMINDERS:

This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid.
