This Request For Proposal #23-41 is a continuation of Request for Supplier Qualifications 23-28. As a result of RFSQ 23-28, Roswell Park has decided to further evaluate all bidders through this invite only Request for Proposal. This RFP will include Financial submissions for the requested solution. Roswell Park will message Respondents through Bonfire to schedule individual presentations. All Respondents will be provided with an agenda through the Bonfire messaging portal while the RFP is open. Presentations will be scheduled upon closure of RFP within the time period of 30 November to 16 December.

Anatomic Pathology and related disciplines are integral services required on-site for direct patient management and treatment. The information system in the pathology laboratory setting is the backbone of operations, and support Roswell Park’s clinical, research, and education missions. Key operational process and data elements are stored within the laboratory information system. The system supports all activities related to specimen receipt, testing, report generation/distribution, record retention, and billing. Roswell Park currently utilizes Cerner Millennium Anatomic Pathology as its anatomical pathology solution.

The new solution will support the information system needs for surgical pathology, cytopathology, hematopathology (including a comprehensive report including flow cytometry, cytogenetics, and molecular diagnostics), cytogenetics, and translational research data mining. Approximately 30 Pathologists, ~100 concurrent internal lab users and ~20 external users (portal access) are expected to be using the system at any given time.
