The Town of Brookhaven (the “Town”), specifically the Town of Brookhaven Department of Planning, Environment and Land Management is soliciting proposals from qualified Proposers to perform a complete strategic planning and feasibility study to determine the feasibility of installing a wastewater treatment facility to serve the Neighborhood Road Corridor.

The objective of this project is to identify the most cost-effective option for providing sewage
treatment for approximately 300,000 gpd projection of sanitary flow to support new development along Neighborhood Road in Mastic Beach. The Town has selected a Master Developer to redevelop the Neighborhood Road Redevelopment Area, (NRRA), and will need sanitary options to support this goal. The investigation should consider existing sewage treatment options, as well as the most cost-effective location for siting a new sewage treatment facility with a collection system to serve the development area.
