The items of work under the contract include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: The project will completely remove the existing crossing and replace the structure. The new bridge will consist of a precast concrete arch supported on cast-in-place concrete footings on bedrock. New cast-in-place concrete wingwalls will be installed at all four corners. A new retaining wall will be installed along the southwest approach to support the highway embankment. The project includes approximately 160 feet of full depth roadway construction. New bridge rail and approach rail will be installed within the project limits. Traffic will be maintained utilizing an off-site detour during construction. Electrical connections and services will be required at two properties.
