Description: REQUEST FOR INFORMATION RELATED TO ACCESS TO CAPITAL FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZED MINORITY/WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES (“MWBE”), SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED BUSINESSES (“SDVOB”), AND SMALL BUSINESS ENTERPRISES (“SBE”) - RFx: 6000001190 The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for Access to Capital for Small and Medium Sized Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprises (“M/WBE”), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (“SDVOB”) and Small Business Enterprises (“SBE”). Through the RFI, the Port Authority is continuing its dialogue with Industry Experts and Partners, the M/WBE/SDVOB/SBE community and other relevant stakeholders to explore options for small or medium sized MWBE businesses to gain access to capital that will enable them to better compete on larger or a greater number of Port Authority projects and to garner responses on specific areas related to Access to Capital. For written submittals, each Respondent should email a PDF copy of its response to Peter Penaflor, Contract Specialist at ppenaflor@panynj.gov , no later no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on November 17, 2022. The subject line should clearly reference the RFI. Firms that have questions regarding the RFI may contact Peter Penaflor via email at PPenaflor@panynj.gov . The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (Port Authority), in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
