Description: The CUNY School of Medicine (“CSOM”) at The City College of New York (“CCNY” and/or “College”) of The City University of New York (“CUNY” and/or “University”) has identified the need to purchase subscriptions to six (6) multimedia digital libraries to support the medical education of students, faculty, staff, and residents. In addition, CSOM wishes to subscribe to a digital self-study and self-assessment book collection that covers USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK, and CS and step 3.
The e-learning technologies must meet specified functional and interactive content requirements described and outlined in the attachment to this advertisement. The applications must be existing, commercially available software.
Vendors who can demonstrate compliance with the requirements contained in the IFB (Invitation for Bid) and are willing to provide a one-year contract from the onset are invited to provide a submission to this advertisement.
Vendors authorized to resell licenses and access to all of the products listed must provide a letter from the publisher that verifies their authority to license these product(s) to the designated contact listed below by the date listed below.
No Subcontracting is allowed.
Any purchase that results from this advertisement shall be governed by the terms and conditions of this advertisement (including, without limitation, any attached specifications and any other terms and conditions attached hereto or incorporated herein by reference) and by the University's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions and Appendix A, Standard Clauses for New York State Contracts which are incorporated herein by reference with the same effect as it is written.
Communication with respect to this procurement initiated by or on behalf of an interested vendor through others than the designated contact may constitute an "impermissible contact" under state law, and could result in disqualification of that vendor.
III. Compliance Procurement Lobbying Act:
Required Forms: Vendor shall complete, sign and submit the following forms if selected.
"Offer's Affirmation of Understanding of and Agreement pursuant to State Finance Law & 139-j (3) and & 139-j (6) (b)." "Offer's Disclosure of Prior Non-Responsibility Determinations and Certification of Compliance with State Finance Law &139-j and &139-k"
Under the requirements of the PLA, all communications regarding advertised projects will be channeled through the Designated Contact.
Communication with respect to this procurement initiated by or on behalf of an interested vendor through others than the Designated Contact may constitute an "impermissible contact" under NYS law and could result in disqualification of that vendor.
