MMCAP Infuse (formerly the Minnesota Multistate Contracting Alliance for Pharmacy, or (MMCAP)) has released a new RFP as detailed below. The New York State Office of General Services (OGS) has made no decisions at this time about participating in this RFP with MMCAP but is announcing its release only as a courtesy to vendors who may be interested in submitting a bid. OGS or other authorized buyers may decide to participate in a subsequent contract at a later date. There will be no further announcement on this RFP from OGS.

MMCAP Infuse is a national cooperative purchasing group serving thousands of state, county, and local government facilities across the United States. MMCAP Infuse is operated by the State of Minnesota Department of Administration’s Office of State Procurement and is governed by Minnesota laws and procurement policies.

MMCAP Infuse requests proposals for Pharmaceutical Wholesaler Distribution Services in order to establish multiple contracts with qualified pharmaceutical wholesalers to provide full-service pharmaceutical distribution to its Membership. Responders are expected to distribute a full portfolio of prescription pharmaceuticals (branded, generic, and over the counter), nutritional products, routine vaccines (all vaccines except influenza), diabetic supplies, some specialty or limited distribution medication, dispensing vials and containers, and participate in 340B distribution.

Upon Responder’s submission of intent to respond, MMCAP Infuse will provide both the necessary supporting data and the Cost Proposal Worksheet.
